I bought this mainly for school, for use in a class of computer programming, and to provide general notes in other classes. Everything works fine, and he does not hesitate to do normal tasks. The battery life is great - I can charge my cell phone from the USB port of the class and not with the battery is running out of concerns before the day is. Finally, the price, over the top. For a family, super-portable computer, you can not beat.

A truly excellent book of net mini-computer. "Leaving was easy to connect to my WEP-enabled home network was easy to connect to public networks was easy to find. Includes base software more than sufficient to the need for routine. Battery life is alright. speed of your computer is very good (I have the bruise to 2 GB of RAM). I love it, and my wife loves it. Highly recommended.

Well by now we have all heard about the Dell Corporations recall on those batteries which supposedly will catch on fire and burn your butt on those lap tops or actually they will most likely burn something else if they catch fire. Now we see that Apple Computers also has the problem and has recalled some 1.4 million computers as well. Ouch?

Yes it is a major bummer for laptop manufactures, it seems all these units had Sony Batteries, bummer for them too. But all this is old news to you I can see, but here is the kicker. I talked to a retired NSA guy or so he claimed at a local coffee shop in Brunswick, GA and he told me that the recall was fake and it is a trick.
